Indoor Environmental Quality Innovation & Design
Actiu products are consolidated in the different environmental categories thanks to the tests done about the product lifecycle under the environmental and quality certificates supervision (ISO 14001 and 9001 or UNE 150301 for Ecodesign). Different categories referring to sustainable lots, materials and resources, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, inner environmental quality, innovation and design applied in a building to get the LEED Certificate (Leader in Energy efficiency and sustainable Design),are used. It is a classifying system of the Sustainable Buildings of the U.S. Green Building Council that differentiates the different environment categories about sustainable construction.
The recent set in motion of our new plant for the metal and painting mechanized in our previous industrial plants, reduce the environmental impact and optimize our resources as well as it allows us to totally control the quality of our products so we can manufacture products with the top level of demand. A new last generation production process that reduces contaminant wastes and the use of wood under the PEFC certificate allows Actiu to get responsible environmental products.
