ACTIU Berbegal y Formas, S.A.

Handcrafted for those who can get excited about design

Not everyone is able to feel it

1

KARBON is the disruptive chair by ACTIU. A commitment to designing a collector's piece of furniture with the shapes that can only be created by carbon fibre. A piece that distinguishes spaces that are open to the avant-garde.

Not everyone is able to feel it. So, if you are lucky enough to experience it, don't hold back: feel it. Enjoy it. Let yourself be guided by your sensitivity - that gift that only a very few have to appreciate beauty in all its forms, textures and materials.
FEEL THE CARBON. TOUCH THE FIBRE.
A chair that is made in 45 days. An icon that is enjoyed for a lifetime.

Manual. That's how you would describe Karbon's manufacturing process. A slow and delicate journey that requires the patience that characterises the most perfectionist of artisans.

As strong as steel, as light as plastic.

Made of carbon filaments that are typically woven into a fabric, carbon fibre is often coated with resin or thermoplastics to create composites with a very high strength-to-weight ratio.
