• ACTIU'S NEW IOT TECHNOLOGY
Can a space feel what the people who inhabit it are feeling?
At Actiu, we have developed our own IoT platform, which seeks to connect all the elements of the environment in which we work: light, air, temperature and occupants to create high-performance, smart workspaces capable of maintaining a constant balance between people, the physical environment and environmental conditions.
  • GAIA measures the well-being of your office
GAIA measures parameters such as temperature, humidity, sound, light and even air quality (carbon dioxide and suspended particles) in real time. It also collects information on density by monitoring the occupancy of rooms and workstations.
  • Presence sensor

Monitoring how spaces are actually being used is essential for office optimization. GAIA presence sensors help to remotely check if there are available spaces, facilitate the reservation of workstations, or notify when a meeting or work room has been vacated in order to allow for it to be cleaned for the next people who have reserved it.

    Humidity

Workspaces in which the level of humidity exceeds 60% increase the risk of contracting respiratory diseases such as allergies, asthma, or viral and bacterial infections. And in the spaces where the humidity does not reach 40%, there is an increase in skin dryness, headaches, itchy eyes, etc. That's why GAIA uses these parameters to help you maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring the humidity stays between 40 and 60%.

    Sound

It's obvious that noise isn't conducive to concentration, but studies have shown that it also affects stress levels, the nervous system and demotivates employees. GAIA controls the decibels in the office and allows people to report issues regarding the acoustic conditions of each workstation.

    Light

With the correct light, energy savings of more than 80% are achieved, but above all, it contributes to the emotional well-being and therefore to the productivity of the people who inhabit a workspace. GAIA helps you to control the light in each area of the office to avoid the discomfort associated with poor lighting conditions including eye strain, exhaustion and headaches, among others.

    Temperature

Workspaces must continuously adapt to environmental conditions, and changes in temperature can cause health problems derived from heat stress. With Gaia it is easier to control the minimums and maximums that must be applied to prevent occupational hazards caused by exposure to temperatures that are either too low or too high.

    CO2 and PM2.5 particles

The quality of the air we breathe inside our buildings is essential for our health. To control this aspect of our well-being, GAIA not only allows you to measure the concentration of the CO2 in a space, but also the concentration of PM2.5 particles suspended in the air. (PM2.5 particles are those particles considered harmful to our health whose diameter is equal to or less than 2.5 microns, generally undetectable, with the ability to penetrate the lungs and even reach the alveoli).
  • GAIA turns data into knowledge
GAIA by Actiu stores the data it collects in the cloud and then turns it into knowledge by showing what is happening in the workspace on the interface of a web platform.

  • GAIA helps you to make better decisions
CEOs, Facility Managers and Human Resources Managers can thus make better decisions in order to optimize spaces and resources, as well as boosting the well-being of employees by improving their work experience.
    Management and Optimization
Gaia allows you to understand how the organization's spaces are really being used, and in which areas more activity takes place. This allows the company to make smart decisions to optimize the space and create new environments that respond to the operational needs of the organization and its sustainability.
    Efficiency & Comfort
By unifying occupancy data and environmental data, Gaia allows companies to improve their working environment and establish ideal mobility conditions for employees. This results in greater satisfaction and productivity, a tool for attracting and retaining talent in the organisation.
    Covid safety and alerts
Gaia allows you to monitor and establish early prevention measures against pandemics or other types of mass contagions in the organisation. In this way, the peace of mind, well-being and safety of employees is guaranteed.
    Employee Experience
The Gaia mobile app allows employees to manage and reserve their spaces in the organisation: book rooms, workstations and parking spaces. The app allows the employee to have access to valuable content, such as news and internal communications.

  • Gaia turns the workspace into a place where people want to be, and where they want to return to.
  • Smarter spaces:
by organizing the space better, users can freely reserve their workstations.
    More comfortable spaces:
by analyzing user comfort levels, we can offer a better work experience.
    Safer spaces:
allowing us, for example, to apply COVID-19 health measures more effectively.
