ECOND ACT

At Actiu we believe in a way of doing things that does not damage our environment, but rather protects and develops it. That’s why we’re presenting Second Act, our collection of personal items made from discarded materials to which we give another opportunity: a second life to create first-class artisan products.
KM0
{Twice} upon a time
a
Like any good story, it begins with the first act, the manufacture of our products.
b
But in any manufacturing process there is always excess material (in our case, fabric).
c
This fabric is made by artisans in the area to create unique local products (thus optimising all the material so as not to produce waste).
d
The end result is a collection of high quality handcrafted personal products.

What savings do we obtain for the planet with this type of production?
For example, the surface area of each toilet bag is 0.2 m2, so we have estimated that the production of 1,000 toilet bags represents a saving of 65 m2 of fabric and 1.6 tonnes of CO2.
