Emblematic buildings with Actiu personality

Nowadays, architecture and inner design are working together to restore emblematic buildings. Private companies and civil service are doing it with great respect and preservation to keep historical patrimony and the identity of our towns.

In the last year, Actiu has been participating in some of these projects next to the professionals, advising and developing the proper product to change these new spaces in comfortable and efficient working places. A sample of this fact is the Alicante Chamber of Commerce building designed and restored by local architect Juan Antonio Solera.

The building is one of the most emblematic and representative along the Valencian coast. Its importance is due to the strategically enclave that marked the economic and commercial activity of the harbor, the town and Alicante province.

This architectural symbol, hoard a long history. In the XVth century, sailors used this place as stores, in the XVIIIth century the building was extended and in the first half of the XIXth century, it was refurbished to become in the Count of Soto Palace who was part of the nobility in that period. In the XXth century, it became into the Palas Hotel, a prestigious hotel. Now, it has been finally restored into the new premises for the Chamber of Commerce.
