As a collaborative partner of FAD, organiser of the festival, Actiu office furniture dressed the meeting and rest areas, as well as, some of the activities of the events. It was present at the ceremony of the FAD Architecture and Interior Design awards and furthermore, for one of its new products, the chameleon STAY chair.

FADfest is a showcase to discover the best ideas of the year in architecture, interior design, graphic design, publicity, industrial design, crafts, art and fashion which took place in Barcelona, which this year, for the first time, had the backdrop of the emblematic Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Seven awards, more than 3000 projects presented in all categories, more than 500 works and selected works. The essence of the FAD is that they are your awards, a way to acknowledge work of thousands of designers who year after year, present new and innovative ideas. STAY, designed by Marcelo Alegrefor Actiu, was a finalist for Delta Awards, an award which is given every two years and rewards the best industrial design at international level. STAY is created so that the user can choose amongst a multitude of options to configure a customized chair.

In a space equipped with Actiu furniture, bloggers, magazines, online media have contrasted their views on formats, services and business models in the sector. They also presented some of the most innovative projects such as Yorokobu, Bworld, Gráffica and paseodegracia.com, from the hands of their creators

To Actiu the support and participation is fundamental for this type of event, to promote partnerships through collaborators such as the one maintained with FAD, who are pursuing the same goal; the drive and promotion of design, architecture and art.
