The World's Most Creative Offices Furnished by Actiu 2/2 (2020 edition)

DECEMBER 2020 | 3 minutes

Increasingly versatile, offices combine spaces, that until recently were reserved for domestic and contract environments, with those traditionally associated with the world of work. Hybrid and easily reconfigurable spaces, designed to improve people´s well-being, which Actiu equips with dynamic and flexible furniture that fosters teamwork and instigates creativity.

Malwarebytes

The ability of Actiu´s furniture to adapt to different ways of working has, once again, led the Californian technology company, Malwarebytes, to call on the Spanish company to equip its offices in Tallinn, Estonia.

Together with its partner in the region, ELKE Mööbel, Actiu created a space that is easily adaptable to the changing needs of workers who spend their working day at different work stations, carrying out different tasks and, therefore, who have different needs. Height-adjustable tables and ergonomic and functional chairs have enabled designing different environments, in which maximum flexibility and the well-being of their users are always sought.

Utopicus Gran Vía & Príncipe de Vergara

Madrid´s Gran Vía and Príncipe de Vergara streets are the strategic locations chosen by Utopicus for two of its headquarters in Madrid. Collaborative environments, which play their part in the cultural, social and digital transformation of companies, focused on networking and training through inspiring activities and events, culture and art.

Having the same qualities, services and interior design of the Madrid in Love studio, both venues blend in with their surroundings: although unique, they have the ability to transmit the DNA of the neighbourhood that houses them. Utopicus´ dynamic nature, along with the demand for functional and flexible furniture, where design and ergonomics prevail, led the company to turn to Actiu to equip its office furniture.

Utopicus Francisco Silvela

Just as it did at Utopicus Gran Vía and Príncipe de Vergara, Actiu collaborated in equipping the new space that the renowned company in flexible space management recently inaugurated on Madrid´s Calle de Francisco Silvela.

This time, the architect Idoia Otegui created an interior design that, just like in all Utopicus centres, opted for a very personal image, tailored to the context of the city of Madrid and which advocates the value, personality and local customs of the La Guindalera neighbourhood to which it belongs. With more than 25 spaces with different themes, and furniture and lighting chosen to bring the characteristics of each room to life, Utopicus´ new flexible workspace in Madrid reflects a common denominator; authentic and Madrilenian, making it a unique space.

Alannia Resorts Grupo Marjal

In Guardamar del Segura (Alicante), Grupo Marjal renovated its Alannia Resorts offices, its subsidiary specialising in the construction of Camping Resorts. Designed by Rocamora Diseño y Arquitectura, constructed by Proyectable Estudio and equipped with Actiu furniture, the offices have undergone a transformative process encompassing the layout, interior design and use of furniture.

The space evolved from having individual tables and chairs sat next to the windows, to a central island layout, with meeting and soft seating areas that invigorate and alter people´s movement patterns, freeing up the windows and their spectacular views. With teamwork, technology, and black and yellow at the heart of the project, the new design succeeds in maximising the comfort, well-being and movement of workers who are steeped in the essence of the company.
