Malwarebytes

Estonia

The ability to adapt Actiu tables and chairs to different ways of working was what won over the software development company, Malwarebytes, founded in Santa Clara (California), who turned to Actiu products to equip its new offices in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

This is not the first time the company has placed its trust in Actiu. In 2016, it inaugurated the brand´s furniture to equip the fifth floor of the building housing its headquarters. The company´s rapid growth meant it had to seek out more space, so last year it took over the sixth floor of the same building, with Malwarebytes once again turning to Actiu´s partner in Estonia, ELKE Mööbel, as well as the Spanish company´s products.

Height-adjustable, foldable office desks that can be combined to create different workspaces in just a few minutes are an example of the versatility of Actiu´s furniture solutions. Products that adapt to new ways of working where employees carry out individual work or in groups, at different workstations, performing different tasks and therefore, with different needs.

This characteristic is what led the company to opt for Mobility desks once again, given that they are height-adjustable as well as being flexible, ensuring that employees are able to work comfortably.

As well as the Mobility desks, Actiu has also equipped these new offices with the Twist table which has been used mainly in the collaborative areas as well as Trama in the meeting areas, where several modules have been brought together to form a larger table. In some of these spaces, the Twist table comes with a screen for video conferences, a resource that is highly sought-after by companies seeking to maintain communication and safeguard the health and safety of customers and employees alike.

To ensure their well-being and, in order to look after their health, Malwarebytes sought out Stay task chairs to look after ergonomics in particular, but without limiting the mobility of workers who often use more than one screen at a time and need to change their body posture or where they facing regularly.

In the meeting rooms, chairs incorporating a piston gas lift cylinder and tilt mechanism from the Urban Plus collection were chosen.

Apart from versatility, Actiu´s products succeeded in integrating the brand´s concern for sustainability into the design and manufacturing process, free from harmful substances such as formaldehyde. An important feature for this technology company located in a building that, just like the Actiu Technology Park, has been awarded the LEED Platinum sustainable architecture certification.
