Actiu achieved very positive results at the last edition of Feria Hábitat Valencia where it established some interesting deals with renowned architecture studios and interior designers at an international level and especially from South America and the Eastern countries
Actiu presented at Habitat the improvements and expansions that it has applied to its main programs, adapting itself to the new standards of eco-design and sustainable productivity, optimizing the use of materials and employing 85% of recyclable elements. An effort that has been rewarded with a more than satisfactory reception of their products in the international market, very present in this edition of the trade fair which was attended by business delegates from several countries.
The most cutting edge products of Actiu, such as the operative desks with electronic elevation, Mobility, designed by Javier Cuñado, winner of the Red Dot Product Design 2012, the TNK 500, created by Alegreindustrial Studio; the collective program Audit and the versatile chairs Urban, Uka and Mit have been the centre of attention with the visitors. The firm had a stand of 160 squared metres, situated in one of the main areas of the trade fair, next to the Nude area.
Moreover, in an effort to promote and encourage the new generations of designers and architects , Actiu took part again in Nude with a conference based on the trends regarding sustainability and eco-design, the values that represent the culture and a way to understand life and work. The talk, was carried out by Soledat Berbegal, Actiu Communications Manager, then Ana Lozano and Miguel Alvarez, architects and teachers from UPV, who showed projects about architecture, interior design and its relationship with product design.
