Salam and Actiu strengthen their relations in the Middle East

SEPTEMBER 2013 | 2 minutes

Salam Enterprises, Actiu's partner in Qatar, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, have opened a new showroom in Doha, Qatar. From this location, Actiu can work to consolidate its presence in the country and strengthen its commercial ties with Salam as well as enhancing its strategies in the rest of the Middle East.

The opening ceremony was attended by the top management of Salam Enterprises, the leading conglomerate for solutions of interior design and with whom Actiu has maintained a close business relationship for eight years. To have the confidence of the Qatari partner so commited to the Actiu brand, with the level of demand in quality, service and a high capacity for resolution to carry out goverment and private projects, has enabled Actiu to overcome barriers, cutural obstacles and legislation,  which other companies find when undertaking International projects.

The Salam-Actiu relationship has strengthened over the years, achieving a perfect combination of western cultures and Qatar. Due to a good understanding between both firms, Actiu is able to offer a product which is completely adaptable to the demanding needs of the Qatari market.

An extremely dynamic market due to the launch of its Qatar Vision 2030 masterplan and the celebration of the football World Cup, in 2022 which is leading the country into a ´building frenzy´ to improve and renovate its infrastructures. By 2030 it has been calculated that investment in this sector will be about 100 billion dollars.

Furthermore, well know prescribers, architects, designers and interior designers from the country have made a strong commitment towards Green or sustainable buildings, a fact that is enabling the offer of Actiu to appear more attractive, based on ecodesign and with the LEED® Gold certification ( Leader in Efficiency Energy Design) for the sustainable construction of its technology park.

Kiko Gisbert, Head of Business Develop at Actiu in the Middle East, presented to a large group of VIP customers, architects, prescribers and authorities on the area of the most outstanding projects carried out to date in Doha, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi and which covered sectors such as finance, education, hospital and businesses amongst others.

In this new Showroom, Actiu shares the space with other firms, although each has its own independent exhibition area. The philosophy, products and facilities at Actiu Technology Park  were represented in a very obvious way in this space, values which during the opening ceremony were explained and were well received by the participants who appreciated the strong commitment of the company towards the environment, innovation and design.
