Fluit recycled stools

Zero footprint author design

Designed by Archirivolto

The Fluit stool is a monobloc piece that achieves the seemingly impossible: to be visually light and extremely robust at the same time.

Manufactured from fruit crates

The Fluit collection is made from 100% recycled fiberglass and polypropylene plastic, certified by Green World Compounding. It is the second life of thousands of fruit crates from Andalusia, transformed by gas injection technology into a seat with a fluid design and silky feel.

The common thread of the spaces

Thanks to its fiberglass formulation and anti-UV treatment, Fluit not only withstands intensive indoor use, but also withstands humidity and solar radiation without degrading. It is an all-terrain piece that works equally well in a hospitality environment as it does in corporate collaboration areas.

Naval inspiration for a fluid design

Its name is no coincidence. Fluit pays homage to the Fluyt, the 16th century sailing ship that changed the rules of navigation for its balance between load capacity and agility. Our stool inherits that DNA: a visually light structure, without edges, that flows in space like a sail, but with the stability and strength to face any storm (or high-traffic project).

Archirivolto Design

Behind the organic forms of Fluit are Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci. From their studio in the heart of Tuscany (Siena), they have been defending an idea for thirty years: beauty must be accessible. They don't design for museums, they design for people to experience the spaces. For Fluit, their challenge was a major one: to take an industrial and recycled material and give it the elegance of a signature piece.
