Design that transforms spaces

Materials designed to care

ECO: a new way of understanding design

ECO evolves our most emblematic lines towards a conscious and responsible design for the future. More than a product, it is a statement of intent: we demonstrate that we can make versatile, durable, high quality furniture using 100% recycled materials. Transforming the spaces where we live and work requires great responsibility. Caring for the environment. Protecting people.

ECO represents a new way of understanding design: more conscious, more human and more connected to the future.

Design meets care.
For people.
For spaces.
For the planet.

Design has always had the power to improve people's lives. From the very first stroke, every design decision involves a choice: about materials, about processes, about the impact that object will have on the world.
At Actiu, we believe that innovation means finding a balance between well-being, safety and environmental responsibility. It is not enough to create products that work.
You have to create products that contribute to a better world.

ECO Material
100% recycled polypropylene (PP)

Origin of the material

Post-consumer plastic is collected, granulated into PP pellets and injected to create furniture components. The process trimmings are reintegrated into the cycle.

Advantages of the material

Maintains the durability and quality that characterise Actiu products, while significantly reducing the environmental footprint compared to virgin plastic. Suitable for intensive use in workspaces.

ECO Dossier

Download our dossier on the new ECO material. In this document we explain how recovered plastic becomes a tool to take care of people and the planet.

Spaces designed
for well-being.

People are at the centre of everything we do. Work, rest and meeting spaces must promote the physical and emotional well-being of those who inhabit them. ECO incorporates materials that respect the health of users, free of harmful substances and validated for use in intensive environments.

Care for people.
Design is also better care.

Healthier, safer spaces, adapted to the people who live in them.

Honest materials for spaces that care

Contemporary spaces are dynamic. The ways of working, collaborating and interacting are constantly evolving, and furniture must be able to adapt to these changes without losing functionality or aesthetic coherence.

Solutions capable of growing and adapting together with the space that hosts them.

ECO products are designed with a vision of evolving spaces. Their versatility makes them suitable for office environments, coworking areas, training spaces, rest areas and public spaces. The colour collection, designed to fit into any interior design palette, further extends their application possibilities.

Sustainable products for new ways of working, collaborating and living together.

Conscious materials.
Less impact.

The extraction of virgin raw materials, manufacturing processes and the end of life of products generate an environmental footprint that the design sector has a responsibility to reduce.

Reducing environmental impact means rethinking how we design, produce and use materials.

ECO is Actiu's response to this challenge. By using 100% recycled polypropylene in the manufacture of its products, the collection significantly reduces the CO2 emissions associated with production, minimises dependence on virgin materials and contributes to closing the life cycle of plastic.

For people.
For spaces.
For the planet.

Towards a new
generation of spaces

The future of work environments requires more flexible, efficient and conscious solutions. Actiu continues to research new materials capable of responding to these challenges without sacrificing design or quality.

The incorporation of ECO materials shows that sustainability, quality and durability can be part of the same design decision.
