AAMI Park adds design and comfort to its Lounge Area

Objective

The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, popularly known as Melbourne's AAMI Park and opened in 2010 by the Victorian state government to host the city's major rugby and football matches, needed to renovate and update its Lounge Area, with materials, textures and furnishings in keeping with its new image.

With a friendly and very elegant design, the stools in the Noom 50 series fit perfectly into the renovated and exclusive Lounge Area.

Solution

Reserved for VIP clients and available for hire for exclusive events, the Lounge Area is conceived as a versatile space, with cosy seating areas and an elegant bar. An environment decorated with reddish and green tones, reminiscent of nature and enhancing well-being, where mirrors, decorative arches and golden details add a touch of sophistication.

Together with its American partner, How Group, Actiu has participated in the project with the Noom 50 stools. Available in a wide variety of combinations, which favour its use in a wide variety of environments, the programme combines in this case a black beech wood structure with a coral-coloured upholstered seat.

All the furniture chosen is in keeping with Cox Architecture's iconic stadium design and Melbourne's eclectic culture. The perfect marriage of Australian design and European elegance, to which the stools add comfortable seating and key durability in spaces that, like this one, must adapt to a wide range of events.
