Habitat et Humanisme, a modern and contemporary environment

Target

Habitat et Humanisme wanted to change its old offices, which had deteriorated and no longer met its spatial and working methodology needs, for others adapted to a much more dynamic and modern spirit.

A place with individual work spaces and areas for exchange, where the meeting between teams and with the beneficiaries of the programmes is fundamental.

Solution

For its new offices in Paris, Habitat et Humanisme Île-de-France has chosen an empty space, which it has completely renovated, both in terms of flooring, carpentry, painting, partitions and insulation, as well as a layout that alternates informal meeting spaces, coworking areas and a flexible openspace, with individual bubbles and offices that can also function as small meeting rooms. The layout alternates informal meeting spaces, coworking areas and a flexible openspace, with individual bubbles and offices that can also function as small meeting rooms.

With a spatial layout that favours brightness and fluid circulation, the project prioritises light colours and contemporary materials to give a dynamic and modern image, reflecting the association's trajectory. An agile and fresh environment, in which Actiu participates with flexible furniture adapted to new uses, respectful of the environment, which prioritises wellbeing and promotes flexibility.

The result is offices that encourage exchange and collaboration, where the Habitat et Humanisme team benefits from greater comfort and a better quality of life. An environment that allows many different ways of meeting and working, both in an open-space equipped with Vital Pro tables, Stay chairs and modular storage cabinets, and in more enclosed rooms, which alternate the same Stay chairs with other Noom 50 chairs and Vital Pro and Prisma tables.

To favour postural change and movement, the offices are filled with programmes such as Longo, Bend or Grada from the Agile collection, which keep the space connected and offer a wide variety of working environments; and others, such as the high Tabula tables, the folding and mobile Talent tables or the Whass stools, which favour improvised meetings and individual work.
