Mestrelab bets on local talent

Offices

Objective

Specialising in the development of solutions related to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, with a young and dynamic workforce and a hybrid working format, Mestrelab wanted to create a flexible and attractive working environment. A place to attract, provide opportunities and retain young local talent, which would also encourage and facilitate the creation and implementation of research companies related to the neighbouring faculties of medicine and pharmacy.

With offices, meeting rooms, open spaces and social and meeting areas, Mestrelab's offices opt for versatile and multipurpose furniture that allows you to choose where and how to work at any given moment.

Solution

The intervention completely refurbishes a well-known building in Santiago and reinvents it with a new image, with a characteristic façade finish, exposed installations and black metalwork. An industrial aesthetic, to which an exposed rock wall and wooden slats add a natural touch.

The ground floor and first floor of the building house a co-working space reserved for research companies. Offices and meeting rooms equipped with Talent 300 desks, Noom 50 chairs and Caddy 500 mobile stands with TV mounts; and programmes such as Arkitek and Cron, which add exclusivity; coexist with a highly versatile open space, where you can work at Prisma or Vital300 Gen desks, concentrate or collaborate in Qyos150 soundproof booths, socialise and relax in Bend or Longo Nómada soft seating modules, or have a drink in the office.

The third floor of Mestrelab's headquarters is divided into a more fixed area, geared towards administration and human resources, and equipped with the minimalist Prisma table; and another area for research stations. To enhance its dynamic and ever-growing character, the latter is filled with flexible and versatile programmes, such as the Twist Gen table, the Pod long table with Longo support sofas, the Owii and Globb soft seating, and the Qyos150 booths. The management offices once again opt for Arkitek and Cron to add distinction.
